AIS Releases a Fully-Enclosed Ruggedized Touch Screen Panel PC Featuring a High-Bright Industrial Grade LCD Panel for Outdoor and Harsh Applications

IRVINE, Calif. -- American Industrial Systems, Inc. (AIS) introduces a fully-enclosed IP67 NEMA 6 rated ruggedized 12.1” panel PC equipped with a true 1000 nits (cd/m2) high-brightness industrial grade LCD display designed for industrial, military and marine display applications. The AIS rugged panel computer is totally sealed against water and dust, capable of operating in the harshest environments including water submersion. In additional to sealing, the display is complaint with MIL-STD-810F standards for vibration, shock, and drop resistance for in vehicle applications. A touch screen HMI interface is built-in for ease user interface for monitoring and control of CAN-bus (controller-area network) peripherals. The entry level CAN-bus terminal is pre-designed and engineered for quick deployment and integration to new and existing industrial applications.
